Hello Katy,

I love your blog! Like you, I just started one to update friends and interested people about my upcoming departure to Guinea on December 1st with the Peace Corps - I look forward to meeting you. Your "about" page spoke to me, also, especially the part about your job being great in so many ways but not particularly fulfilling. I used to do marketing for a mortgage company and I have said almost identical comments as you wrote about how I can help a mortgage planner go from making $3ooK to $350K or something but that doesn't exactly make me feel warm inside. It will be great to meet you in Philadelphia!
Sincerely,
Candee Ramos

Katy,

How refreshing to read your posts, but mostly your "About" section on your past experiences as well as why you decided to joing the PC as well.

I related to alot of what you said and it's very comforting to know that there are others out there who are longing to find their place in this world and to find a job where they feel needed and have a purpose.

I look forward to 27 months of discussing all of this with you!
